Hi, I’m Marcel, Head of Software Engineering at SiliconDales, building on a web journey that started way back in 1998. Born in Brazil, raised here in Porto (yep, I’ve spent 33 summers at this very pool!), I’ve lived and breathed tech since publishing my first client site as a teenager.
I’m deeply involved with the international WordPress community, specializing in e-commerce, and passionate about making the web and businesses run smarter and faster, through my agency called Pluginslab.
Right now, I’m leading the tech side within a larger team of contractors of the digital transformation at an American company dedicated to online schooling, supercharging their online presence and building AI-powered tools for online learning with WordPress at the core.
I’m here at Tech Waves for one big reason: to connect with others who are pushing the limits of AI in real-world projects. I want to learn what you’re building, share ideas, and spark new collaborations.
